I hope you are ok and looking forward to spring. Many thanks, Helen, for forwarding Ron's message and lovely photos.
I'm fine (touch wood). My Cathedral job has come to an end (so I'm free on Saturdays!!) but I'm still doing library work and exploring options in archives - also garden volunteering at Ushaw College where I'm enjoying seeing spring gradually come along. I was reminded of Argus last week when I heard this arrangement of Seal Lullaby with the Kanye Mason family on YouTube - it brought back happy memories: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2on4IS8fIcc All the best and greetings to all 'Argusians' (not sure if that's the right term!!) The "Stay At Home Choir with The King's Singers". This is a beautiful rendition of the Billy Joel song we also sing.
If you want to follow/get involved with "The Stay at Home Choir" you need to register at https://stayathomechoir.com/ Their next project is with The Swingles. Not much coming in from poeple - I hope you're all too busy enjoying your gardens and lovely weather. So here's something uplifting from "Voices of Hope" to keep you going. "Like A Rainbow Shining" by Will Todd. A lovely song by local composer and musician Will Todd. Choirs can access free resources to sing this in the future. Our Codebreaker Project Just in case anyone interested - this was released on Sunday when Newcastle Choral Society should have done a Sage concert and we’re releasing another one on VE Day. Regards Maureen Another amazing musical video which I got via Newcastle Choral Society Something I got from Harrogate Choral. Makes you smile.
