We start our new singing year on Saturday (1st September): usual place and time.
Our full rehearsal dates are available here. Ian has the sets of music ready for the Christmas programme. If you have "Carols for Choirs" books please bring them (Ian has a few copies that can be borrowed). N.B. If you have not already done so can you also bring "The Lord is My Shepherd" (No. 123) as we are loaning it to Lanchester Choral Society. 11th Nov
- Committee meeting 12.30-1.30 (agenda to follow) - Rehearsal from 1.30pm to 4.30pm (covering both Christmas and evening concert pieces). - Back to the venue by 6.30pm for the concert starting at 7pm. - People can remain at Cornerstones between the practice finishing and the concert starting if preferred. Concert pieces Someone to watch over me - Gershwin Fields of Gold - G M Sumner Scarborough Fair and sound of silence - Simon and Garfunkel Social madrigal - Nathan Howe The wind beneath my wings - Sillbar and Henley. 25th Nov - Rehearsal time 2-5.30pm We next meet on 3rd June as usual from 2-4.30pm.
Please remember to bring the West Side Story medley (186 + 111) to replace Phantom of the Opera for our next concert. All other pieces remain the same. Please note before the concert on 24th June at Our Lady Queen of Peace, Penshaw, I shall provide location and other info. We're rehearsing in the church today, not the Upper Room.
